NIKKEI and KAYAC developed Virtual Reality technology, “Recreate landscape that painters had once seen”
Nikkei Inc.(Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Naotoshi Okada) co-developed “Art Immersion Technology (AIT)” with KAYAC (Head office: Kamakura, Kanagawa, President: Daisuke Yanagisawa). AIT using virtual reality (VR) can recreate the scenery what painters once had seen.
Using AI, AIT can project re-constructed landscape image throughout exhibition hall with painter own touch. With painters’ point of view, we can see both their artwork and the background scenery together and re-experience the thought of painter, brings deeper understanding of artwork.
